We have adjusted our municipal services as a result of the new measures due to the coronavirus. Our services remain available to residents and businesses. Please be aware that it can take longer to reach us by phone. It can also take longer to receive a response from us on Facebook, Twitter or WhatsApp.
Adjusted opening hours and services
Due to the corona virus, we have limited our opening hours and services. We do this to ensure that we can continue to provide the services that are really needed. The city office at Stationsplein / Coenderstraat will remain open as usual, but not on Friday evenings.
Up to and including April 28, you can only visit the city office by appointment for emergencies. Emergencies are: applying for a passport, identity card or driving license that expires before April 27, 2020. You can also register a birth or death.
We continue to perform free and simple marriages. This is only possible in the presence of the bride and groom and the witnesses.
Do you urgently need an appointment with the municipality in the coming period? Then contact 14015 to make an appointment.
We also look whether the appointments that are already planned are urgent or can be rescheduled. If your appointment is not urgent or has te be rescheduled, we will contact you.
From Sunday 15 March new measures apply in the Netherlands to stop the spread of coronavirus. Please read the measures at government.nl.
