Registration for international students
General
Are you from abroad? And are you going to study at TU Delft or IHE? You must register with the municipality within 5 days of arrival. Please make an appointment online.
Description
Bring the following documents to your appointment:
- Valid passport (for all students) or identity card (for EU/EFTA students only)
- Copy of your passport of identity card (including a copy of the page with your signature)
- Original deregistration certificate (only if you are from the Caribbean Netherlands)
- Copy of MVV visa, stamped on the page in you passport (only for non EU students)
- If you do not have an MVV visa, bring one of the following:
- Printout of the email from your educational institution confirming that your residence permit has been approved
- Letter or email from the IND regarding your residence permit
- Copy of your rental or purchase agreement. You can only make an appointment if your rental contract has already started or will start within 1 month.
- If you are not the main resident, also bring:
- Permission from the main resident and owner
- Copy of the rental or purchase agreement of the main resident or owner
- Copy of the ID of the main resident or owner
- Your student number
