Student housing

Most schools have some student housing available and will help their international students find a place to live.

Most educational institutions in Delft help their international students apply for student housing. Duwo, a student housing corporation, is the largest supplier of student housing in Delft. Duwo works together with most schools in Delft (including TU Delft and IHE Delft) to provide safe, affordable housing to the thousands of Delft students. Be sure to apply early.

Rental Frauds

Unfortunately, there are people who will try to take advantage of students desperate to find accommodation. There are several measures you can take to protect yourself against becoming a victim of rental fraud. 

Room Tenants Housing Cost Allowance

As a room tenant you may send in an on-line application for a Room Tenants Housing Cost Allowance (Tegemoetkoming Woonlasten Kamerverhuur; TWK) between 1 October and 31 December 2022. The allowance can amount to € 135.
