Marriage registrars

There are several marriage registrars in Delft.

State your preference

Please state your preference for a marriage registrar online. You can do so until 6 weeks before the day of your wedding or partnership.

The municipality allocates the marriage registrars about 5 weeks in advance. Your preference will be accounted for.

You are advised to state 2 or 3 preferences. If your preferred marriage registrar should not be available, the municipality will assign another marriage registrar.

Interview

Several weeks before the day of your wedding or partnership the marriage registrar will contact you for an appointment. During the interview we will get to know each other better and you will be putting forward your wishes.

Other marriage registrar

Do you prefer another marriage registrar from another municipality? Then you must arrange this registrar’s appointment as once-only marriage registrar for the municipality of Delft.
